Salty Chick's Soup

“Salty Chick's Soup” is a striking blend of dreampop ambiance, indie pop warmth, and melodic rap flow, all steeped in the disappearing landmarks of Hong Kong. From the haunting echoes of Sha Tin Park to the neon-hued bustle of D’Aguilar Street, each track resonates with personal memories and collective nostalgia. Her evocative songwriting captures a city undergoing rapid transformation, weaving lush synths and understated beats into stories of identity, belonging, and hope.

Standout moments include the raw intimacy of “Sha Tin Park Toliet” where youthful longing meets urban isolation, and the free-spirited defiance in “Do What You Like,” challenging convention and celebrating self-discovery. By the time we reach “Hundred Acre Woods,” the album’s reflective closer, listeners are enveloped in a wistful sense of acceptance and renewal.

Ten Strangers That I Used To Know

$alty Chick is wrapping up her year with her anthropology project, “Ten strangers that I used to know”, which includes five of her previously released singles, “Close My Eyes”, “BPD” and “Call You Tonight (Band Version)”, and 4 new side tracks. As the album title suggested, every track in the album is inspired by her real-life encounters with guys from different stages of her life. By asking them the same question “what does loneliness mean to you”, maybe one day she would find the answer herself? Each is a reflection of her mental state at the time, a journey of self-discovery and recovery, compiled into this 9 track album measuring into a little over thirty minute listen.

Her conversation is captured in an music album. a book and a condom box.

Sorry I'm a fuck girl

In the realm of contemporary music, a bold new voice emerges, introducing herself as $alty Chick. Her debut album, "Sorry I'm a Fuck Girl," is a fearless exploration of femininity in the face of patriarchal norms. With tracks like "I Don't Want Men, Just Dicks" and "Why Do All Good Guys Have Small Dicks?" she fearlessly confronts societal expectations with humor and wit.

Through her music, she invites listeners to laugh, cringe, and ultimately question the absurdity of the male gaze. In this audacious musical journey, she transforms the most mundane encounters into moments of empowerment, proving that sometimes the best way to shatter the patriarchy is with a song and a smile.

Despite being an independent artist, $alty Chick's audacious sound has propelled six of her songs onto the coveted Top 50 Viral Spotify chart, where they remained for an impressive two months. This feat is a testament to her raw talent and the undeniable appeal of her irreverent approach. As $alty Chick continues to defy conventions and capture the hearts of listeners worldwide, her rise marks a seismic shift in the music industry landscape.
